I understand that as a condition of registration I acknowledge that I am an experienced fencer and knowledgeable of the risks involved in fencing competition.  I agree to abide by the rules for competitions published by the American Fencing League.  I certify that my uniform and equipment will meet the requirements of the rules.  I understand that I will be required to pay an entry fee of $25.00 for entry to the tournament and $10 for each individual event that I enter, or if my entry is as a team member that my team must pay an entry fee of $50.00, payable at the door with a check made out to the American Fencing League or in cash.  I further understand that I will be required to read and sign a statement acknowledging that I have been informed of the risks of fencing, that I assume those risks freely, and that I and my heirs will hold the American Fencing League and the Hanover Academy free of liability and blameless in the event of accident or injury.
