2008 AMERICAN FENCING LEAGUE
NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS INFORMATION
REGISTRATON: Preferred registration is by use of FRED at http://askfred.net/Events/Prereg/prereg.php?tournament_id=6223. If you are unable to register using FRED or if you are a National Division fencer entering through the National Division Qualifying Process, you may fax a paper registration form. Fencers registering agree that they understand as a condition of registration they acknowledge that they are experienced fencer and knowledgeable of the risks involved in fencing competition. They agree to abide by the rules for competitions published by the American Fencing League. They certify that their uniform and equipment will meet the requirements of the rules. Fencers will be required to read and sign a statement acknowledging that they have been informed of the risks of fencing, that they assume those risks freely, and that they and they and their heirs will hold the American Fencing League and the Hanover Academy free of liability and blameless in the event of accident or injury.
FEES: Individual tournament entry fee is $25.00. Fee for each individual event entered is $10.00. Team entry fee is $50.00. Payment by check made out to the American Fencing League or in cash is due at check-in.
EVENT SCHEDULE: Individual Foil, Epee, Sabre, and 3 Weapon events will be fenced in that order on 19 July. Foil, Sabre, and Epee will be fenced with pools or as pool unique. Three Weapon will be fenced elimination. Team matches will be fenced on 20 July.
